When you spend 15+ years transforming talent acquisition across organizations, you learn a thing or two about what works—and what desperately needs to change. That’s exactly what happened when we – Raine Lunke and Richeal Royal – kept getting called in to rethink how companies approached hiring.

We saw the same challenges everywhere: sky-high agency fees and recruitment partners who were more focused on commissions than finding the right fit. Looking at each other, we said, “There has to be a better way.”

So we created one.

Raine Lunke

President & Owner

Raine Lunke is the founder of R2R Strategic Recruiting, where she has spent over 25 years building meaningful connections and delivering creative solutions to help companies hire exceptional talent and humanize the hiring process. With deep experience in talent acquisition, HR, and consulting, Raine has earned a reputation for her personalized, relationship-driven approach and commitment to excellence.

At R2R, Raine specializes in tackling complex and “impossible” searches—ranging from confidential roles to executive positions—while consulting with businesses on hiring processes, best practices, and recruitment systems. Her ability to understand each client’s unique challenges and deliver tailored solutions has made R2R a trusted partner for HR professionals and businesses across the Pacific Northwest.

In 2025, Raine will become the owner of the HR Network, a 4,000-member community of HR professionals across Oregon and Washington. Created 26 years ago by Jennifer Johnson, the HR Network has been a lifeline for collaboration and support within the HR community. For Raine, taking on this role is deeply personal: “I found a job through the HR Network, hired incredible people, and built friendships that have shaped my career. I’m honored to continue its legacy and ensure it remains a source of connection and inspiration for others.”

With 20 years of experience building exceptional teams, she’s the strategic force behind some of our most impressive placements—including a VP of Martech for a Fortune 500 company that still makes her smile.

A natural innovator in the recruiting space, Richeal specializes in strategic sourcing, cutting-edge recruitment technology, and crafting candidate experiences that leave lasting impressions. She’s particularly passionate about sharing her expertise, delivering global DEI training, and helping teams master the art of strategic sourcing.
